Native Indigenous American made vintage sterling silver an pink mother of pearl mosaic half hoop post earrings with push backs. Pictures don't do these justice. Simple and easy to wear. Gorgeous, versatile and elegant.
This collection of jewelry is a temporary section in our store. I grew up in Northern Minnesota in a town with a population of less than 200 on the edge of a Native American reservation. My family integrated many lifestyle practices, and my father grew up as an honorary tribe member. My mother, and my father's sister ran stores in two nearby towns that both showcased and supported indigenous artistry. The makers were fairly compensated at rates they set, and regarded with utmost respect. This collection is what remains from the large amount of jewelry they purchased from artists during the 1980-90's. It is not previously owned. It has been carefully stored for over 20 years. The sterling is heavy, and amazing quality, as are the stones. It is from a bygone era. Once it's gone, it's gone.
